As we approach the bountiful season of Thanksgiving and you prepare for your holiday feast, we ask that you please consider sharing a bit of your bounty with our neighbors facing food insecurity. Your food donations are the seeds of hope for families in need this Thanksgiving.
If you would like to DOUBLE YOUR IMPACT and also drop off a food donation to the Food Bank, please consider donating from their Most Needed List.
MOST NEEDED FOOD ITEMS:
-Canned Vegetables (no/low sodium)
-Instant Mashed / Scallop Potatoes
-Gravy (cans/packets, no glass, please)
-Stuffing Mix
-Rice (regular and instant)
-Macaroni & Cheese
-Applesauce
-Broth/bouillon
-Olive Oil (no glass please)
-Turkeys (frozen or fresh under 20 lbs. preferred)
-Chickens (frozen or fresh)
-Hams (frozen or fresh)
If you receive a free turkey from your local grocery store and would like to donate it, the Food Bank is happy to accept the turkey but is unable to redeem your voucher. Food donations can be dropped off Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm. They are hosting Drive-Thru Food Drives on Saturdays – Nov. 16 & 23 – 9:00am – 11:30am
